This book has just arrived. It is an important work of some 340 pages (page size is about 7 by 10 inches) and it contains coverage of both the native and the introduced terrestrials that live in this region of South Africa. It will show color photographs of 280 shell specimens and will also have 164 color photos of the living animals. I like the layout of this book. All of the information and photos and maps concerning each shell will be in one place. It is a hardcover book that land shell collectors should welcome into their libraries.
