West African Seashells

This 2004 publication is one of the best selling titles that I have in stock for the past few months. It plugs the wide gap that his existed in available shell literature and it is a welcome addition to anyone’s shell library. It is a hard cover in the A4 size and it contains 316 pages. This book illustrates 2300 shells from this region and over 2000 of them are photographed in color. There is a brief discussion of each family and then the shells belonging to that family are illustrated and discussed. The outlines of the geographic area that it covers are from North Africa to Senegal and the off shore islands.
